Posted by John on 5/27/2005, 1:07 am I would keep this surfboard, but it's slightly too small for me. I'm looking for something a bit longer for the summertime, anyway. If you have something to trade, please contact me - I'll consider all offers equally. Dimensions/specs are as follows: nose: 18" All dings were professionally repaired and board was re-glossed and polished out. There is some cracking @ the diamond section of the pinline on the deck, for some reason. Other than that, just a few scratches/abrasions here & there. Estimated age is probably 1965 or so. This would be a great wall hanger or kid's board for contests, etc. Perfect for that little Malibu gremmie who can already surf better than you @ just age 10! Asking price is $375. Please email me directly w/any interest. Thanks for reading...

Up for sale or trade is a mid-1960s Surfboards Hawaii Model A. This board was actually a longboard until someone cut it down to about 8ft in length. The glass & resin work is done so well that I didn't even know this was the case until someone more knowledgeable pointed it out to me. I have ridden it in up to head high surf - seems to work best in waist to chest conditions. The stepdeck feature is fully intact, & the nose flexes as intended when you walk up to the tip.
tail: 15.5"
width: 22.5"
fin: 9" (original)
weight: 22.5 lbs
serial # 2678
green resin tint bottom & rail wrap to yellow pinline, clear deck
