I went to New York back in October, just to see the Phantom of the Opera. I was wanting to see Michael Shawn Lewis as Raoul again, I had seen him in Houston, but I never got his autograph.
Anyway, I had row AA which was awsome for the show. I must say that Howard Mcgillin was one of the best Phantoms I have heard. It sounds like he brings a bit of anger into the Phantom. It actually sounded like he was trying to make The Music of the Night a slightly angry song. Most people might not like it, but I did. I liked it so much I went back for seconds two nights later and thirds in December. I am not a stalker mind you. I already had the second night tickets, I got the AA for a gift. And in December I was in NY with my college class and couldn't resist. I want to say that I have seen Phantom of the Opera 8 times in 2 years. That will be accomplished when I go in January. But I loved Howard's performance. And what a nice guy. He came out with the make-up lady and said that she made all the magic happen. Then I got an autograph on my Phantom mask and a picture. Boy he is tall...perfect for the role. I can't wait to here him again. I can't help but laugh when he is crawling for his mask...I am a strange Phantom of the Opera fan I find humor in some of it. But my new list of favorite Phantoms would go

By the way does anyone know when Howard gets to the theater? I have a present for the entire cast, but I think they would enjoy it more if it was there when they got there. So I want to give it to Mr. Mcgillin when he goes in for make-up. It is for January 26, which is a Friday. I was going to give it to Michael, but I don't know when he will get there(unless he got my letter)
