not all 'broadway' contracts run for 6 months, some are 3, some are 6, some are a full year. it depends on when Actors Equity Negotiated as the shortest term of contract at the beginning of the show, and moreover, what the performer and their agent negotiate with the producers. typically E chorus contracts for a broadway production are 6-15 months, principal contracts typically, are 3-9 months.
