My wife and I asked our granddaughter, who was about to celebrate her 8th birthday, what she would like to see. She picked "Phantom." Having seen it twice before, I was not especially looking forward to seeing it again, but we ordered tickets. I must say that Howard McGillin's performance was by far the best of any I have seen. This was the first time that "Phantom" really moved me. His power, pathos, along with his magnificent voice, made this a memorable performance and a wonderful experience for all of us. By the way, my granddaughter loved it.
