A year ago, my husband and I went to see Phantom to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and were very fortunate to meet Mr. McGillin after the show. Exhausted after doing two shaows that day, he was still kind, personable and generous to everyone. He smiled and joked when Teddy, his dog, stuck his nose into someone's bag! He was fantastic as Erik, but more than anything, his kindness toward his fans has been a very special and fond memory.
