I was completely blessed to have been able to see Howard performing as the Phantom when I went a few days ago. I've only ever seen the movie, and was surprised by the power and magic behind Howard's voice. I don't live in NY (live in Virginia, actually), but I had been planning a NY trip since October, and when asked which Broadway show I wanted to attend, it was no surprise to anyone who knew me that I picked Phantom.
It is my favorite show, and now my favorite Broadway, and I will be looking forward to seeing Howard in more shows in the future, even if I have to drive to NY to see him!
I would love to grab a soundtrack of the show with Howard as the Phantom as well. So if anyone knows this is in the process of being created, please let me know. :-)
