My father's friend Richard Dhonau appeared on "To Tell the Truth" in about 1972, impersonating Emmett Grogan, the author of a book called _Ringolevio_. Supposedly, Dhonau fooled most of the panel into thinking he was Grogan, who admitted in the book to being a murderer.
