Posted by John Francis Leo It was shown on Channel 5 in New York, which if I remember correctly was an affiliate of CBS. The three young men all claimed to be Erik Nielsen, a Danish seaman who had been part of the crew of a shipreplica of a British verssel carrying tea to the Colonies - Boston - in tne summer of 1773. The colonists, whose slogan was "no taxation without representation" snuck on board, dressed up as Indians, in the dark of the night and threw the whole cargo overboard. The incident became known as the Boston Tea Party and was the unofficial start of what is known as the the War of Independence in America and the American revolution in Britain.

My brother, Peter Leo, was a contestant in an episode aired in January 1974.
The replica had been built in Denmark to commemorate the 200th anniversary, Erik Nielsen had from the summer until late November 1973 been a guide on the replica shipin Boston Harbor.
I would very much appreciate any assistance in finding a copy of this episode.
