Episode is described as follows:" Gemologist Jerry Call, and the author of a book on birth control pill hazards, Barbara Seaman."
It was fun.I had a great time afterwards with Kitty Carlisle who is still fabulous, and always on the town. She still can sing. Twenty years later I had the honor of reviewing her autobiography in The Washington Post...But my disappointment was that I let my "imposters" down. They tried so hard to learn all the technical, difficult stuff about the Pill, and I wanted them to maximize the prize money. I played dumb --until one question got me so hot under the collar that I gave a long, impassioned answer, and three of the four judges instantly knew that I was me. Only one voted for an "imposter." I blew my cover, but ,nonetheless ,I would LOVE to get a copy. Barbara Seaman, author of THE DOCTORS' CASE AGAINST THE PILL. PS: I will soon be revising it for the fourth edition. Previous editions were 1969,1980, and 1995. And the worries about the Pill still continue but the product is safer and the dosages are only one-tenth of what they used to be.
