Thank you! These topics are a great way to start each session. I made a spring time brainstorm bulletin board. I blew up the boardmaker picture of the person thinking and put it in the middle of the board. Each week my groups get to choose 1 of 2 topics this week things that grow in the garden or things that you see in the sky. Each student gets a conversation bubble and has to draw or write three items that belong in the topic chosen. They have approx. 5 minutes and then they share their responses with each other. After that I hang their bubbles on the bulletin board for everyone to see. My students love it!!!
