I used this with my young mixed category Life Skills class. These kids cannot consistently label colors or sizes verbally (indeed they are VERY inconsistent), yet when we played the game, they immediately and without prompting matched the hearts to those on the board! The teacher and I were amazed. They could also point to the correct color choice in the sentence, even if unable to produce the label verbally.
