Posted by Orietta on 25/2/2007, 3:25 pm Reminding you that the event many of you have been waiting for, La Faya Festival for 2007, will be held on Sunday 18th March, at the Immigration Museum Melbourne. The Museum is open from 10.00 am to 5 pm., but festival activities will run from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Hi everyone,
This will be your absolute last chance to view the exhibition: Beyond the postcard image - Mauritians and Rodriguans in Victoria.
Regular admission charges apply, i.e. $6.00 for adults, children and concession holders do not pay, and give access to exhibits as well as the festival itself.
There is an opportunity for members of the community to be involved on the day - directing visitors; assisting presenters; coordinating a music or dance workshop; helping run games such as carom, dominoes and petanque; storytelling; giving a talk; putting up and packing up community display boards (but not the exhibition itself); being a DJ or a MC;...
If you are able and willing to help, please contact Patricia (9700 4102) or Clency (9700 1827) by Thursday 1st March.
