Posted by Kar-El on 27/5/2007, 3:31 pm, in reply to "Re: Exiled From Paradise by Order of Her Majesty" i am very interested in knowing your involvement in this historic fight. the mauritian government is morally and legally responsible for the fate of these people. the mauritian government have to compensate these people and help them to resettle in their land. mauririus cannot simply walk away. we must ensure that these people are well looked after. the british government cannot appeal and must accept the verdict. appealing to the house of lords is not going to happen, believe me. prior to handing down the judgement, i already knew the legal outcome.
