So, if I come across the tee-totalling Eddy, in his black beret, at the local pub, I may just shout him a lemon squash. Orders of chivalry medals, from museum-bound anachronistic institutions, rarely hold my interest for more than a nanosecond. However, in this case, the recipient is not your usual run-of-the-mill fellow traveller touring on the same bus as the government of the day. This man has actually paid his dues.
