YES IT REALLY HAPPENED, MY MUM WAS THERE, SHE USED TO LIVE IN MAHEBOURG AND SHE TOLD ME THAT THE CRASH WAS HORRIBLE, I WAS 2 YRS OLD THEN AND SHE SAID THERE WERE CLOTHES AND SHOES EVERYWHERE ON THE STREET CLOSE TO 'PLAINEMALLENT'SORRY IF THE SPELLING IS WRONG BUT I GUESS MANY PEOPLE WOULD REMEMBER THE LITTLE VILLAGE CLOSE TO ROSE-BELL, I GREW UP IN MAHEBOURG MYSELF, I HAVE HEARD MANY PEOPLE TALKED ABOUT THE QANTAS CRASH,AND SOME SAID THAT WAS THE LAST DAY THAT THEY EVER HEARD FROM QANTAS AIRLINE, IT NEVER LANDED IN MAURIIUS SINCE .
