I'm not sure if there is a memorial stone or monument somewhere in Mauritius but I do recall SAA agreeing to fly free of charge close victims' relatives, over the crash spot on a yearly basis. The Taiwanese government erected a cenotaph near Taipei airport in honour of local victims.
The Qantas crash occurred in 1960 refer to previous posting and link by Gerard.
