IF YOUR FAMILY TREE TELLS YOU THAT YOUR ANCESTORS CAME FROM THE AFRICAN CONTINENT (WHETHER YOUR AFRICAN BLOOD IS PURE OR MIXED, IT DOES NOT MATTER)THEN, YOU ARE A CREOLE.
HAVING AFRICAN BLOOD IS NO SHAME. RATHER, IT'S SOMETHING WE, CREOLES, MUST BE VERY PROUD OF. OUR ANCESTORS WERE CAPTURED AND BROUGHT TO THIS ISLAND. OUR ANCESTORS HAVE MADE THIS NATION A GREAT NATION. SADLY AND UNFORTUNATELY, SOME CREOLES HAVE REJECTED THEIR ORIGINS AND FELT ASHAMED OF THEIR AFRICAN CONNECTIONS. THIS IS A TRAGEDY BECAUSE BEING A CREOLE IS NOT SOMETHING WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF.
IF YOU ARE A CREOLE OR YOU FIT THE DEFINITION ABOVE, DO JOIN THE FCM AND BE A PROUD CREOLE.
