My my....what an eloquent critic of my posting!
I want to reiterate that I am creole and proud of it. I do suport all the objectives of all parties involved in the empowerement of the creole community in Mtius but the agenda set by Cyril and co. will cause confrontation and possibly a lot of unrest to the island. Mauritius has progessed in leaps and bounds since we secured our independence. The standard of living is better than most third world countries. I wholly support that a more equitable distribution of wealth and privileges shold be negotiated in favour of all ethnic minorities including ceoles but not the expense of civil strife and unrest which certainly be triggered by Cyril's extreme views. I also support the view that Creole should become the island's official language as we all speak same.
