I have an ancestor Catherine (nee WILKINSON) who was married to N. JACOBS, living in Mauritius, who was partner in family firm CHARLES JACOBS & SONS, who were based in Melbourne and imported tea and sugar from Mauritius, with their own ships "Edward Spence" and "C.J.S." N.Jacobs had tea and sugar plantations in CUREPIPE, Mauritius and also "The Family Hotel" - from about 1870 to 1917. I think the hotel was bought by a Miss A. Wiehe about 1908. Any Info. on above would be appreciated.
