La generation perdue: For a moment I thought you meant the STOLEN GENERATIONS! but never mind, back to MAN U, a young British born Mauritian talking of the Mauritian Identity, describes it as someone who either support Man U or Liverpool. no disrespect for any of you gunners!
Gerard,if you were at RCPL in the late 50's, I kinda of guess your age, which lead me to take the view that this thing, this infatuation with Man U goes back quite a long time.
If the Munich disaster was not my time, but I sure remember the Genius- Georgie Boy and Bolomme Charlton. I guess his receding hair style had a lot to do for his sobriquet!
Bolomme Charlton once said of Georgie Best : if George was born on mainland England instead of northern Ireland, then England would have kept the World Cup for ever! Hmm I am not so fanatic these days!!
