ancestors in Mauritius

Anyone out there have any info. on firm of Charles JACOBS & SONS (based in Melbourne, Australia but importing from plantations in MAURITIUS) - in particular, NATHANIEL JACOBS, eldest son of Charles, born 1847 in Gawler, Adelaide, South Australia, and a partner in family business. He lived in Curepipe with his wife CATHERINE, and operated tea and sugar plantations, and an hotel - I think "The Family Hotel" in Curepipe, from around 1870 to approx. 1917.
