February is Ovarian Cancer Australia's Awareness Month
Please note correct web site address at
http://www.mpcfaus.org/
The official launch of Ovarian Cancer Australia's Awareness Month
will be held in Melbourne Sunday 8 February at 9am at BMW edge
Federation Square. The month will be launched by The Hon Nicola
Roxon, MP, Minister for Health and Ageing and officiated by Ovarian
Cancer Australia patron Nicole Livingstone OAM.
Many of you would be aware of Madeleine Philippe (Recipes from
Mauritius Web Site at http://ile-maurice.tripod.com ) is undergoing
chemotherapy for ovarian cancer. She is one of the lucky ones to have
had the cancer picked up at an early stage. Early detection is
crucial.
As a result of which we have now established a "Madeleine Philippe
Cancer Foundation Aus" to raise awareness about early detection of
Breast and Ovarian Cancer.
You are therefore invited, on the occasion of "Ovarian Cancer
Australia's Awareness Month" to visit her Foundation web site at
http://www.mpcfaus.org/
Early detection can save your life.
This web site has been set up to raise awareness about breast and
ovarian cancer and what we can do to avoid it. Your ongoing support
would be most appreciated. You can make donations towards Cancer
Research by using the PayPal Button. All proceeds will be donated
towards the Cabrini Oncology Unit in Malvern or Breast and Ovarian
Cancer Research Foundations in Victoria. The Madeleine Philippe
Cancer Foundation will be registered as a Charity Organisation and
all donations will be tax deductible.
Early Diagnosis can mean the difference between life and death.
Thank you
Madeleine & Clancy Philippe
