Oh dear , Oh dear , there we go again!
Gillaup, with all due respect, you should have read the first line of my first post in this thread. Here it is once again: To all our Chagos Supporters and if you are British, please sign the Petition.
So you see, with regard to signing the petition, I was clearly addressing British Citizens and not Aussies or Mongolians or even Mauritians.
Now why did I choose an Australian forum to do so and what are my motives? From our experience, we have supporters of all nationalities from all corners of the Globe. Have I mistakenly assumed that there are no British citizens living down under? A preposterous suggestion!!
And This forum has also witnessed many posts from British citizens living in the UK. The M-A Connection is indeed a very popular forum used by many nationalities. I would like, here to commend its founder.
Furthermore, I am also remitted to ensure that all our supporters ( wherever they may be) are fully informed of all actions and developments on the Chagos struggle, whether or not a specific campaign engaged them directly or not. Hence I would like to apologise to you for disturbing your peace and tranquility.
As for my motives....but for the sounding of my names , this question will never arise and my answer is simply: NO COMMENTS!
Thank you for the offer of legal opinion. Our Legal team is already comprised of lawyers from several countries, from USA to Europe,Mauritius and including Australia as well. Hence one more, will do us no harm at all.
One final point, I was NOT the originator of the current petition but as an active supporter, I circulated it round to get maximum support and publicity.
So please dear people, STOP SHOOTING THE MESSENGER!!
And to my friend Loulou, thanks mate.
