The airfare from Perth to Mauritius is horrendous. I have been getting quotes to spend 7 nights in Mauritius (a package deal) it will cost me close to AUD$5,000.00. It is simply ridiculous. You would think that the Mauritian Government would try their best to get tourists in from Australia by cutting down airfares etc. Well its their bad luck - I would rather spend my $5,000.00 elsewhere.
