Posted by Shemp on 8/22/2007, 6:26 pm, in reply to "wedding" Andy and Aneta guest starred in the first episode of season 2, "Andy's Baby," and we are told that Andy, Helen, Andy Jr. and Opie now live in Charlotte where Andy is a State Investigator. RETURN TO MAYBERRY (1986) reveals that Andy & Helen live in Ohio, where Andy has quit his job as a Postal Investigator to return to Mayberry and run again for Sheriff.

They lived in Mayberry for a while. Sheriff Taylor appeared in three additional episodes during season 1... "Mike's Losing Streak," "Help on the Farm" and "Youth Takes Over."
