Teeth, will require clipping or grinding (in the case of molars), abscess will require ongoing, long term treatment. Is he moulting? Sometime my guys just go off their feed when they moult. I can't ever find any reason for it, but a day or so of tlc usually brings them round. I use simethicone, tummy rubs, lots of water and, if possible, grind up some pellets and mix it with stewed apples or pumpkin. Syring feed in necessary. Doe he look uncomfortable? Is he pressing his stomach to the floor, shifting around a lot? Is he pooping? Could be gas. I use the same treatment as I do for moulting. Some people also avocate a small amount of mineral oil to help the stomach move things along. The dose is 1cc a couple of times a day. There's some links here that will explain about gas and stasis. http://fig.cox.miami.edu/Faculty/Dana/ileus.pdf http://www.bio.miami.edu/hare/ileus.html http://www.lbah.com/rabbits/malocclusion.htm Let me know how he goes and if you need any more information on anything. Good luck! Melony

Ok, lack of appetite can be caused by many things. He needs to see a vet to get his stomach, teeth and general health checked. Make sure they get back and look at his molars as well, they can develop spurs that are very painful. Don't let them give a motility drug unless they're absolutely sure there is no blockage as it can cause the stomach to rupture.
(if this doesn't take you straight to the page, click on the pull down menu under medical services and find rabbit teeth conditions.)
