You can get ones that heat in the microwave and stay warm for about 12 hours. Also, if I think they're in pain and not responding to anything I do, I will give quarter of a tablet of adult aspirin. I believe baby aspirin is best (use half a tab) but we don't have that here in Aust. Melony

So glad to hear he's picking up. It can take a while, the main thing is to keep offering food, lots of cuddles and tummy rubs. I really do believe that the extra attention help enormously. Hay is good as it's probably the highest fibre thing he can eat. You could also try things like mint, parsley and dill which are meant to stimulate the appetite and digestive system.
