Posted by Holly on 18/1/2006, 5:20 am He's eating some, but not a lot. The vet told us to continue forcing him to eat the critical care food. He REALLY ahtes it, so I think we're going to give him that once a day and then encourage him to eat hay and other foods. Do you have any suggestions to help him feel better? We know that recovery will take a while, but we want him to start feeling better soon. Any tips would eb appreciated. ~Holly

Sunny, our 3 year old Netherland dwarf, did start eating a little. However, yesterday he began holding his head to the side. Last night he began stumbling a little. We took him to the vet asap. They think it's E. cuniculi. They took some blood and are running tests for E cuniculi and pasteurella. They gave us some oxibenzadole to give him daily until we get the results. The vet said we caught it early and that he has a good chance of survival with few permanent problems.
