Everything from ear drops (just in case it's an ear infection) to antibiotics, to a pain medecine (sorry I'm at work so I don't have the names in front of me). Also we tried giving him some subcutaneous fluids last night. That was an adventure. He doesn't have a lot of loose skin so we were only able to get a little bit into him before he (and us) couldn't take it anymore. We will try more tonight. My main concern is that he hasn't drunk any water on his own since he first had head tilt. We've been syringing 5mL of water and pushing watery veggies like lettuce. He's now sick of lettuce, so we're doing 5mL of water 4 times a day. His Critical Care is also mixed in water, as are his meds (which we are giving him much more of) so I hope he's getting more liquids. We started this new regimen yesterday, and we both agreed this morning that while the head tilt nor balance issues were any better, he himself seemed stronger physically. He is taking some of his medecine really well, however he hates drinking water almost as much as the Critical Care. It seems strange, shouldn't he be thirsty??? I'm thinking that some of the medecine might be flavored. Can rabbits drink apple juice or something that might be flavored? Regardless of what we give him, we know we'll have to give it through syringe. We think he is afraid of putting his head in the water bowl. Thanks for your quick responses to our questions. You have been very valuable to us and we really appreciate it. Attached is the link to our personal home page with pictures of Sunny when he was healthier.
