To give a change to lettuce, try parsley, sage, mint, basil, rocket, bok choy, silverbeet and endive. All can be eaten safely and might stimulate his interest in food. I seem to recall Sophie neither ate nor drank as much as normal when she was tilted. All you can do is make sure he is offered water frequently and as much as he wants. Sometimes just dripping the syring near the mouth can be enough to get the to lap or dripping it into your palm. Get yourself a nice big 30ml syringe for water as it saves refilling if he wants a big drink. It sounds to me as if he is making improvements. Headtilt recovery is slow, but attitude is everything. If he's giving you attitude, he's still doing fine, it's when they become listless you get really worried. I had a look at his pictures, he is beautiful! He looks just like my Peta Melony
