Do they ever recover 100%? Or are we going to have to eventually make the decision of "he's probably not going to be 100%, is 80% (or 60% or 40%) OK?" We keep on hoping that Sunny will get better, but it seems like his ups/downs over the past 2 weeks have stabilized. We hope that means that he's going to slowly climb out and recover, but if he stays in his current state (gets dizzy and rolls whenever he is on his feet for more than a couple of minutes, little bladder control, scared/unable to drink liquids on his own), then we may be faced with a difficult decision down the road. We always appreciate your perspective, that's why we ask the tough questions :-). We're just happy to have Sunny still with us, still fighting, and still occasionally showing us some of his spunk we love so much.

I noticed that you said that recovery can be "back and forth" with head tilt. We got confirmation back from the tests that Sunny does indeed have E. Cuniculi. While he got remarkably better last Friday and Saturday, his head tilt and flipping got markedly worse on Sunday into Monday, and he has been neither getting much better or wose since then. Your words about "back and forth" are definitely comforting, because we definitely have seen that.
