I am so sorry sym. Sometimes it seem that despite our best efforts the odds are just against us. I fought Whisper's abscessing for 3 years and had to make the same awful choice when he got cancer. Fly strike is terrible and even if you think you've got it cleared up it can have ongoing effects.
