Posted by toby on 18/11/2006, 7:07 am I put her back outside today and have had the same thing, had to dig her out of the burrow again - does anyone know if this is indicative of going off somewhere to die, or are rabbits suceptible to changes in the weather? i.e could the coldness of winter made her more poorly? She seems fine when inside. She is 'at least' 6 years old (was a rescue rabbit and only weighs 2.10 kilos, and is quite bony. Any help/advice would be great

I've 4 Rabbits who were kept in a conservatory (only single glazed, so technically inside but hardly the warmest (I'm in the UK)) I moved the 4 of them into a big run over the summer and all was fine, last weekend one of them went into their burrow and wouldn't come out, trip to the vets, steroid, house rest was the result.
