You're most welcome and it's great to see someone putting a lot of thought into the process of getting a pet. Rabbits in particular are seen as quiet, docile animal that will happily live out their life in a cage. While some do this, it isn't optimal and doesn't take into account their highly active and social nature.
Have you considered a smaller animal? I've had rats for some years and found them to be fascinating and very entertaining companions. They will be quite happy in a smaller cage if you put some interesting bits in there for them. Mine actually live in what is commonly sold as a small rabbit hutch. I have some rope for them to climb on, a ferret hammock and cheap bird box for them to sleep and build nests in. If you get a female there is no odour and they're very clean. They are smart so you'll need to make sure the cage is secure.
One other consideration I forgot to mention before is lifespan. A rabbit can live up to 10 years or more, a rat is doing well if it gets to 3. That may sound harsh, but when weighing up which type of pet suits your lifestyle it's a huge consideration. Anything over 4 years is a big commitment to make.
