Hello again, I couldn't fit this in my previous post...
A relative babysat the bunnies while we were on vacation. When we returned we noticed something was wrong with Moose's foot. We're not exactly sure how he occured this wound so we took him to the vet and he said it's a hairline fracture and a ripped tendion. He said if he would just leave it alone it would heal in 2 weeks! The vet tried to put the cone on his head but Moose got that sucker off in seconds so that was out of the question! We put a baby sock on his foot and taped it to his fur with athletic tape. The sock stayed on for 3 days and Moose finally chewed it off. The wound looked like it was healing and scabbing. Now he wont stop licking and biting it and it looks worse again! Tonight we taped another sock to the foot. Should we just keep doing this or is there anything else? I'm afraid this will never heal and I don't want to lose my bunny, please help!
