Tuppence gets into the litter tray occasionally, (low cut-out)but is peeing mostly just in the pen and down her legs. Roger seems to pee in the kitter litter but poops everywhere. If I sweep it up one of them comes and deposits again within minutes!!
Both bunnies are stressed due to very noisy renovations next door so they are in temporary quarters on the garden bed as far away as I can get them, with their cage and room to move!
I now use artificial grass around the cage so the wee goes through and the poop stays on top, but it doesn't drain that well. I will take your advice and try the mats or put newspaper under the grass so I don't have to hose the soil so often to remove the smell.
How often should I wash her and how? (I currently use plain water and then try to towel her off but she hates it).
Thank you for your always good advice.
