Also being aware of any behavioural changes so that you can take immediate action. Usually it's fairly simple like simethicone (baby wind drops), tummy rubs, pain management and keeping them eating. If you have a look at the oz rabbits website there is a links page that will take you to a lot of different rabbit sites and groups that can help with information. As you say, no bunny can every replace Downie, but he has opened your heart and life to the joys of bunnies and now another can benefit from that... that's pretty special!

You can vaccinate against Calici in Aust. In Europe, against calici and Myxo and neither in the US.
