Hi Melony. Thanks for your response. We have decided to keep the boy and the girl bunny and plan to desex both of them. We have been recommended a Desexing Clinic which does rabbits along with many other animals.
Our bunnies sleep in a cage together at night and run around the back yard during the afternoon together. I am yet to witness "the wild thing" take place between the two but I have my suspisions. The girl bunny has turned out to be quite fluffy. At the moment she lookes like a half shorn sheep. On the back of her neck and at the lower end of her back she has short white hair but everywhere else is covered in long soft grey hair. They don't have fleas. What do you think? He does not spray or stamp his back legs. I am saying that they are 12 weeks old.(a slight overestimate.)
Should we separate them now before it's too late?
