Posted by Jessica There is this bunny that I like at the petstore (a mini lop) and it’s the same place I got Downie and where I got my dog who is very happy and healthy. It’s a very nice petstore and they take really good care of the animals. But anyway, there is this bunny that I thought was really cute but she looked kind of sick because the way she was sleeping looked kind of funny… I don’t really know how to describe it. But she is very lazy and had a hard time waking up. I went back about 5 days later and she was the only one left of about 10 bunnies. And she was still being very lazy and sleeping a lot. I took her and played with her in the play room to see if she would act differently and when I put her on the floor for the first time she just sat there. the 2nd time she moved a little but didn’t hop. The 3rd time I had her cupped in my hands and sat my hands on the floor and she didn’t move. Which I thought was really sweet but I’ve never seen a bunny do that before. Then the lady suggested that I put her in the cage with some other bunnies to see what she would do and at first she cuddled up with the bunnies and rested. And after a few mins she started hopping around and eating. The woman said that she is just depressed from being separated from all of the bunnies all of a sudden and was just now by her self, so she decided to leave her with them. The only thing is I noticed that she was still being really lazy and sleeping a lot when she was with all of the other bunnies a few days before. What do you think?? Does she seem sick to you?? Oh yeah, the woman also said her eyes were clear and usually that’s a sign that they’re fine. And she is very fat so she does eat. Hope someone can help! Thanks,

I just recently got a new bunny last summer and he only lived for 7 months and we took him to the vet and he said sometimes bunnies can just die like that. So anyway, I’ve been wanting a new bunny since Downie died. And I wanted to ask if there are any tips on how to pick a bunny rabbit out?
