Posted by Jen on 17/5/2005, 11:20 am I have been told by my local feed store that the lops or the drawfs are the best to have. I have not had any personal experience in caring for one. I did however, raise farrets for well over 15 years. I am simply looking for a breed that will be a laid back breed. Meaning...I would like one that does not have the "rep" of being wild and aggressive or to shy. I realize that handling is the best key to this best behavior and socialization, but I would like to stick to a breed that is well known for being a great family pet. Does it matter more on a male or female??? I would really like to hear your feed back.

Hi. I ran across your website. Thought I would ask for your oppinion on what breed of bunny you feel would make the best household pet. I have two boys, 7 and 9. And I babysit a 2 year old and a 1 year old during the day.
Thank you for your time
Jen
