wood chips

Hi I was just wodering if wood chips were ok for rabbits .This is my 3 rd rabbit and everyone is saying no from where i got them from.All my other rabbits had no trouble with it.If they eat wood chips doesn't it mean they arent being feed good or proper?Thanks so much. Diana
