Posted by Chris Brockton did not apply for 2006-year racing dates, but there must be some interest as owner George Carney has been lobbying for extended simulcasting at the Brockton Fairgrounds, which one would believe would be tied to conduction a race meet. Although financially difficult these days, let's hope fair racing returns!

I'm big fan of fair racing from Maryland and have attended virually all of the Northampton meeting during the past six years. I have also attended Great Barrington when they tried to revive racing in 1997+1998, as well as the first Brockton meet (after 29 years) in 2001.
