A fine trip is in the offing from Feb 6-12. My lifelong friend, Howard Oil who has been the track announcer at Monticello Raceway for over 20 years, will be coming out to visit me in Las Vegas. Monday and Tuesday, Feb 6-7 we'll be in Phoenix for Turf Paradise in the daytime and the Phoenix Greyhound Track at night. Wednesday, the 8th it'll be Santa Anita in the daytime and Los Alamitos at night. Feb 9 and 10th, Thursday and Friday it'll be Golden Gate Fields in the daytime and Cal-Expo at night. I am so juiced up about this trip I can hardly contain myself. It reminds me of years ago when I'd take my son and go through Canada for 3 weeks hitting every single available racetrack in every single municipality. What a great time it was and what a great time it will be....
