We didn't have to pull riders out of the stands this year and there were riders actually left in the room when the horses left the paddock. I think Miles City was happy with the money and the weather was beautiful.

Hi Terry!!!
We missed you at the Bucking Horse Sale this year and I will have to admit that it went quite well, even without you!
Hopefully they will run next year. The state is in a turmoil but we have the "governor's task force" and also a new breeder's organization has started up. They are planning on Montana bred bonuses and a sale and all sorts of things that we have lost in the past few years.
Kalispell surprised me when they shut down because the whole fair ran around the horses.
Missoula really surprised me because their meet is the best in the state and their handle is good and they do treat the horsemen well. The guys backing the racing in Missoula are quite the supporters and I know they fought hard to keep it going another year.
We need some progressive leadership in the state and also some answers to the jock insurance problem. $10,000 deductible per accident is just a little steep.
Are you going to make it back to Great Falls this year? If so, look us up. We aren't running anything this year (should be) but if the state can get rolling we'll run next year.
Jill and Bob
