I just spoke with the MA Racing Commission and learned that the fair board has applied for 7 race dates in 2007 (08/31-09/03 and 09/08-09/10). It appears that the town missed the associated income and the fair missed both the income and attendance. Hopefully the impact from taking a year off will not be too negative. I plan to drive up from MD to attend all 7 days! Anyone else looking forward to their return?
