A typical routine for me was the live and simulcast races at the fair during the day, followed by more horserace simulcasting up at the Hinsdale, NH dog track. I made my initial posting after speaking with the MA Racing Commission. I followed up later by speaking directly with someone on the Fair Board, and learned that another group (the horsemen?) and not the Fair Board want to run the race meet. A number of hurdles remain, including negotiations with the Fair Board to lease the grounds. While the return of racing is far from a sure thing, I expect the folks involved will work hard. I'm optimistic, but not too excited until the return of racing is confirmed. I was advised to check back around February, as decisions regarding the return of racing should be known by then. If anyone else has new or additional information regarding the potential return of racing, PLEASE DO SHARE WITH US! Chris
