I was there about ten years ago and loved it. I've heard it's the oldest operating track in Canada. I'm thinking it opened around 1893. The racing was great and the crowd was enthusiastic and the food was excellent. Sorry, I can't speak to the beer. One problem is it's being squeezed out by the town growing around it. When I was there they didn't have an automated tote board--two teenagers and a telephone did the job and the program was the Racing Digest. All in all a great experience.
