Posted by Chris Thanks for sharing. Both fairs mentioned (Fer+WMF) are excellent, but folks will have to settle for Fer for now. WMF folks want racing to return, but the County Commissioners are against it, as they want a re-development program for the aging fairgrounds to include a (business) EXPO center and NO race track. As for me, I am planning on attending Prineville OR and Elko, NV racing fairs in 2008 for the first time. Prv is said to be very well supported by the community, and they should race 07/09 to 07/12 (4 countinous days). Elko should race 6-7 days, including a 4-day continous stretch over Labor day weekend.
