Paul,
I have no lodging recommendations as I drive from western maryland (about 80 miles one-way) to attend. There is parking at the fairgrounds, but one would have to arrive very early before the lots fill up. Lots of parking available at near-by businesses, within short walking distance to the fairgrounds. Chairs and coolers are allowed, but no drinks can be in glass bottles. You did not ask, but admission to the races this past year was $6 per day, which also gets you in to the fair. Any other questions, just ask!
