I second Terry's suggestion of Grande Prairie. They race at night (from 6:30 or so until 10pm-when it is still light out) on most days. They also have a standardbred oval inside the Qh/Thoroughbred oval, and generally alternate races between the two breeds- a one of a kind situation in North America. Simulcasting from Northlands (which has a great simulcast center, by the way) and Stampede Park was also offered when I was there. It's about an hour short of the end of the world, but I felt it was worth the trip.
